Great Golf

The Sunningdale professional golf staff organizes an impressive calendar of golf events for members. These tournaments are distinguished by exceptional planning and execution and are accompanied by exciting dining events. Some of the biggest events of the year include: Men’s and Women's Opening Days, Men’s and Women's Member-Guest Tournaments, Pumpkin Closing, Men’s and Women's Member-Member Tournaments, Couples 9 and Dines, Men’s and Women's Club Championships, Parent-Child events and weekly golf leagues.

Exceptional Cuisine in a Spectacular Clubhouse

Sunningdale has a reputation for great food and service, whether it’s a la carte dining on the popular patio during the summer or a member-sponsored function in our Thompson Hall.

Sunningdale members enjoy two separate dining rooms, in addition to the banquet rooms, member lounge, and patio, which offer intimate settings for a formal or casual dining experience. Whether you’re planning a special dinner for two, or a wedding for 150, you’ll appreciate the expertise and creativity of our Chef de Cuisine, sous chefs and catering staff. 

Sunningdale is a family favourite for regular Sunday brunches and special celebrations. The club is open year round for dining, themed events and recreational activities including an extensive range of social events for families. Clubhouse Amenities

  • Large Men's and Ladies locker rooms with wood-grained lockers, heated shower floors and easy access to the computer kiosk for handicap score entry
  • A separate Board Room with easel, white board and computer hookups.
  • Large practice driving range just steps from the Clubhouse that offers both turf and all‑weather tee boxes, with yardages to each target pin clearly identified and a plentiful supply of range balls at each teeing position.
  • During the winter months, Sunningdale offers our Indoor Winter Golf Academy on the lower level of the clubhouse with full teaching and swing analysis services.

Everything you need to play the game better and look great while you’re at it is available in our full-service Sunningdale Golf Shop. 

Our Golf Shop has a premier selection of equipment and clothing from the top manufacturers in the golf industry. Our golf staff is specially trained to fit members with the perfect set of clubs to complement each person’s unique swing and body type.

Membership Options at Sunningdale

Full access to all the Club’s facilities and amenities including our 18-hole championship golf course, practice facilities, the Clubhouse, health and wellness programming, dining rooms and all social events and activities.
Clubhouse privileges are extended to the member, member’s spouse or significant other and dependent children under the age of 30 as dictated by the Club.

Flexible golfing classifications let you choose how each member of the family plays golf, with easy annual movement from one classification to another as your needs change.
Social Members and their families have the privilege of full access to all the Club facilities, with the exception of golf. This includes unlimited access to the Clubhouse facilities, dining rooms and year-round social calendar. 

This allows the member to experience Sunningdale without committing to the Club long term.  This is a great option for golfers looking to see if club membership is right for them. Our Trial Membership includes unlimited access to the tee, locker, club storage and full access to all practice facilities.
